  • Internal & Executive Communications Manager

    August 2024 - Present

    • Lead the development and dissemination of communications for five executive leaders representing six business areas, including General Counsel, Chief Security Officer, and Chief Information Officer; provide secondary support to Finance, Human Resources, Global Regulatory Compliance, and other functional areas.

    • Partner with executive level through early career SMEs to ensure awareness of upcoming initiatives, including software architecture changes, UX impacts, and security awareness throughout the enterprise’s 47,000 employees.

    • Led the development of an enterprise-wide style guide, dictating the standards for internal and external communications.

    • Led communications activities for the longest federal government shutdown in U.S. history in September 2025, partnering with corporate function and sector communications leaders to ensure widespread awareness.

    • Maintain standards and drive engagement to intranet subsites for Corporate Legal, Security, Contracts and Supply Chain, Chief Information Office, Corporate Information Security, and more, receiving thousands of hits annually

    Technical Writer - Change Management

    March 2023 - August 2024

    • Work closely with a team of Change Management Analysts, Data Engineers, and Developers to produce project documentation that supports audiences impacted by critical IT projects in the US, UK, and Australia.

    • Draft, develop, and disseminate high priority messaging to support, CIO, CIS, and Office of Technology initiatives including thought leadership, cybersecurity, fundraising, and hardware/software changes.

    • Established and maintained internal standard operating procedures and guidance, including templates, images, paragraph libraries, and more, allowing for greater consistency in documentation across multiple IT functions.

  • Information Developer II, Financial & Insurance Solutions

    May 2022 - January 2023

    • Developed and published GitHub and GitLab repositories of publicly available technical documentation for five pre-configured financial and insurance solutions.

    • Collaborated with highly technical Product Managers, Developers, Data Analysts, and UX Engineers to produce holistic documentation for frequent product releases following six-week sprints.

    • Worked in lockstep alongside an assortment of development teams to maintain consistent language and UX best practices across Appian solutions.

  • Technical Writer, Communications Manager; Pennsylvania Tax Hub Project

    June 2018 – May 2022

    • Led technical documentation, internal communications, and external marketing efforts for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue’s (DOR) $150M SaaS implementation to modernize tax processing infrastructure and efficiencies.

    • Drafted and refined messaging for deployment across mass communications channels to motivate user adoption of myPATH: the DOR’s new taxpayer-facing system.

    • Audited, consolidated, and greatly improved a vast collection of business-critical DOR correspondence resources by rewriting them to comply with Plain Language Guidelines.

    • Provided review and refinement across a repertoire of critical business deliverables, including for Leadership, Training, Testing, Development, and Change Management teams.

    • Used Salesforce CRM to manage student records and 7,000+ company accounts, including managing alumni accounts and hiring records.

    • Produced digital and print ads distributed to the 5,000+ undergraduate students, including recruitment materials provided to potential students.

    • Employed SEO and editing techniques to redesign and drive engagement to the College of Business website, which receives 400,000+ hits annually.
