• Provide communications support to over a dozen high-ranking Leidos Business Area leaders, including Directors, Senior VPs, Sector Presidents, and General Counsel.

• Maintain standards and drive engagement to intranet subsites for Corporate Legal, Security, Social Responsibility, Chief Information Office, Corporate Information Security, and more, receiving thousands of hits annually.

• Partner with stakeholders of varying technical and non-technical personas to ensure visibility throughout the enterprise of upcoming initiatives, including upskilling, technical/UX impacts, and social events.

• Assist Leidos executives with refining high-level presentations to senior management or Business Areas.

Technical Writer, Change Management

March 2023 - August 2024

• Work closely with an adept team of Change Management Analysts to produce project documentation that supports audiences impacted by a variety of critical projects in the US, UK, and Australia.

• Draft, develop, and disseminate high priority memoranda to support, CIO, CIS, and Office of Technology initiatives including cybersecurity, fundraising, upskilling, and hardware/software changes.

• Establish and maintain ever-expanding libraries of expertly engineered educational materials, including templates, images, text items, and more, allowing for greater consistency in documentation.

Information Developer II, Financial & Insurance Solutions

May 2022 - January 2023

• Developed and published an in-depth collection of publicly available technical documentation for five pre-configured financial and insurance solutions repos in GitHub and GitLab.

• Collaborated with highly technical Product Managers, Developers, Data Analysts, and UX Engineers to develop documentation needs that support frequent product releases following six-week sprints.

• Worked in lockstep alongside an assortment of development teams to maintain consistent language and UX best practices across solutions.

Technical Writer, Communications Manager; Pennsylvania Tax Hub Project

June 2018 – May 2022

• Cultivated a comprehensive repository of communications artifacts for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue’s (DOR) $150M SaaS implementation to modernize internal and external efficiencies.

• Drafted and refined messaging for deployment across mass communications channels to motivate user adoption of myPATH: the DOR’s new taxpayer-facing system.

• Audited, consolidated, and greatly improved a vast collection of important DOR correspondence resources by rewriting them to comply with Plain Language Guidelines.

• Provided review and refinement across a repertoire of critical business deliverables, including for Leadership, Training, Testing, Development, and Change Management teams.

• Getting Started with myPATH Instructions PDF: This set of instructions was provided digitally to Pennsylvania taxpayers as an aid for establishing a myPATH account so they may pay their PA state taxes online for free.

• Rollout 1 Communication Plan PDF: This communication plan sets out the strategies used to communicate the modernization of Pennsylvania Motor and Alternative Fuels Tax to impacted taxpayers.

• PATH Internal Newsletter (June 2020) PDF: This newsletter was part of a internal publication distributed to Department of Revenue employees each month, providing them PATH project updates, key dates, helpful resources, and more.

• Unemployment Insurance Monetary Determination Help Topic PDF: This knowledge base article is an example of the large repository of technical documentation resources available to Unemployment Insurance clients (this is a non-PATH document).
